The financial sectors of the business and public sector are increasingly faced with problems that simultaneously bring together multidisciplinary understandings of finance, programming, economic engineering, machine learning, econometrics and administration. In the last decade, the line of studies in analytical finance emerged in developed countries, combining in its research all the tooling and theoretical apparatus of these areas.

In this context, the Finance Analytics Research Group was born. The team is made up of researchers and students with multidisciplinary training and focused on quantitative areas with the aim of offering analytical capacity to the scientific publications generated. The coordination of the group is the responsibility of Prof. Dr. Daniel Christian Henrique.

The group's main objective is to develop research and scientific reports in all areas of analytical finance or involving several of them. To achieve this purpose, extension projects, research projects and monograph guidelines are generated focused on analyzing the viability of enterprises or analyzing public databases from municipalities, states, federal and global agencies, as well as data from companies. publicly traded capital and sectors offered by B3.

The participating students are PIBIC (Institutional Program for Scientific and Technological Initiation) scholarship holders, PROBOLSAS (Extension Scholarship Program), monograph students or volunteers. Regarding research, extension and monograph development projects, research and scientific reports will be generated for posting on this website or for possible publications in conferences and specialized journals. There are also spaces for the dissemination of publications carried out throughout the participants' careers related to the areas of analytical finance, as well as for the dissemination of monographs supervised by the group coordinator with greater relevance but which were not published, developed by students from undergraduate courses in Engineering of Production at UFSC.
